Waiting at a junction and watching all moving things make their way through the chaos.

The lights make blurry trails in all directions that leave a tingling in your ears, and a buzzing in your head.

“It’s true, what they say.”

She said to him as she closed her eyes and shook her head as if shaking off something.

“You have got to get moving to get somewhere.”

She stood there misplaced, frozen in the lights that danced around her.

He took her hand, and pulled her lightly.

“Come, I’ll walk you home.”

The lights made blurry trails in all directions around them as they walked together.

He had a tingling in his ears. She had a buzzing in her head.
